예불을 할 떄 유나의 목소리는 삼매력을 나타냅니다. 대중은 유나를 따라서 삼매에 듭니다. 염불하기 위해서 염불하는 것이 아닙니다. 부처님을 찬탄하고 마음을 정화하기 위해서가 아니라 삼매에 들기 위해서 염불합니다. 거기 서있을 떄 움직이지 마세요. 우리는 다리가 불편하다고 무게 중심을 바꾸지 않습니다. 우리는 어떤 것도 하지 않고 견딥니다.

When you do a ceremony, your voice shows your Samadhi. People in the audience of the assembly can also follow you and enter Samadhi. You're not chanting for the sake of chanting. We don't chant in order to praise the Buddhas and purify our minds but in order to enter Samadhi. When we stand there, we don't move. We don't shift our weight when our legs are uncomfortable. We don't do anything. We endure.
